About The Owner

William C. Williams (Bill), has been in the medical business for over 30 years. He initially started as a Sales Representative, growing into a distributor, and then on to owning his own company, Citrus Orthopedic Products, Inc. Bill and his good friend Kent Rankin, an IBM executive, started Apollo Medical Services, LLC. (AMS), in 2008. Kent has since passed away but his memory and family remain involved in the business. Currently AMS emphasizes Orthopedics and Obstructive Sleep Apnea within the Military Arena. AMS has always stressed the importance of combining the advances in technology while maintaining a strong emphasis on personalized service; this continues to be our recipe for success.

William C. Williams (Bill), has been providing Durable Medical Equipment to MacDill Air Force Base for over 30 years. Having grown up in a military environment, Bill understands and appreciates the importance of our military personnel and their families. Bill has lived in England, Guam, Venezuela MacDill AFB, and a number of other places. AMS provides a service that continues well beyond MacDill AFB while patients continue their military service elsewhere. Continuity of care for all military personnel and their families is imperative, AMS always ensures and delivers accordingly. AMS is honored and humbled to be considered a Preferred TRICARE Provider.

Apollo Medical Services, LLC (AMS) understands the importance of community involvement and “giving back”. We participate in numerous events as a sponsor contributing funds to many worthy causes. Of particular importance is AMS’ involvement in A Kids Place and East Bay High school, helping a family in need during the holidays. Both Bill and Kent’s children attended East Bay High School, so this is their way of “giving back” and saying “thank you”

Apollo Medical Services, LLC (AMS), prides itself on accessibility and expeditious service. We strive to deliver unparalleled service to our customers. We typically contact our patients no more than 48 hours after receiving their order to schedule an appointment for setup and explain the proper utilization of the product. Patients are also given a business card at the time of setup with our representative’s cell phone number, to make us accessible outside of typical work hours should they have any questions. With AMS the customer is always a priority!
